Each lesson in Nurturing Your Young Reader has a wealth of resources for you. Here's your Guided Tour of what is available:

• Lesson PDF File Each lesson is founded on a PDF file. Most are 3-6 pages in length. The main information is in this PDF. It also contains hands-on activity ideas for you to try with your young reader.
• Video Lesson Each lesson has a video to help you get going with the topic. The video contains a summary of the main lesson PDF. The videos are intended to supplement the PDF Lesson, not replace it. You definitely will want to read the PDF files even if you watch the videos, because there is so much more in them.
• Video Notes PDF If you like to take notes while you watch videos, I've included a PDF file of the Powerpoint presentation used as the basis of each video. Feel free to print and take all of the notes you need!
  
• Personal Learning Log Each lesson includes a Personal Learning Log. Download and print this out. It is designed to help you cement your learning and keep track of your insights. It also has space to record activities you try with your child and the outcomes.
  
• Extra Resources Many lessons include additional resource links for you to explore. These are related websites and reading suggestions that will deepen or broaden your understanding of the topic. I hope you will explore them-there's a lot of helpful information out there!
